CURRENT VACANCIES Administration Officer (Part Time) About the Role • Part Time Position – Contract • Location: Flexible - within the Burnett Inland The primary focus of the Administrative Officer is to provide administrative support to Red Earth Community Foundation (Red Earth) General Manager. Duties are outlined in the position description. The Administrative Officer is required to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality with sensitive organisational information and have a proven history in maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ability to be diplomatic, flexible in your approach and adaptable to changing environments is essential. The Administrative Officer will report to the General Manager and undertake administrative duties as requested. What you will bring to the role: • A high level of energy, enthusiasm, and flexibility, along with a commitment to teamwork and a willingness to learn about and embrace the values and vision of Red Earth • A high level of verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to use initiative and work effectively to timelines • Confidence and maturity to support the retention and growth of volunteers, sponsors, funders, directors, staff, and alumni; including the capacity to handle sensitive and confidential material with discretion • Experience in designing and implementing administrative procedures, as well as experience in data entry and reporting • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook along with experience using the Microsoft Teams platform • Ability to work effectively while managing a range of tasks; and the skill to organise, prioritise and deliver on tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis • Capacity to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment • Proven ability to solve problems by collecting the right information, analysing the information, developing a solution, and evaluating the success of the solution How to apply: Email or post a copy of your resume and cover letter outlining your attributes that can contribute to fulfil the duties outlined in the position decription and how you can contribute towards building an even better Burnett Inland for future generations.
